Summary

Laserfiche Social BPM is a website where users can collaborate, share ideas, and learn. Users can start discussions or ask questions for the entire community, or they can create content within public or private groups.

Note: This is a preview release. The pricing and features in the release version may differ from this version.

Laserfiche Social BPM allows users to:

• Create content by starting discussions, posting announcements, asking questions, and replying to others.
• Collaborate with the right audience. With public, private, or hidden groups, users can share their content with the right group of people.
• Subscribe to interesting topics and posts. Users can easily keep up with the conversations and subjects they care about with subscriptions. When a user subscribes to a topic or post, he'll receive email notifications when there's new content to see.

Laserfiche Social BPM interacts with other Laserfiche products in a few ways:

• It stores posts in the Laserfiche repository.
• It can get its user list from Laserfiche Directory Server.
• It populates the FAQ pane for starting forms in Laserfiche Forms. New in Forms 9.2, the FAQ pane is a great place for users filling a form to learn more and seek clarification on the process.

• Processor (CPU): 2.93 GHz or faster multi-core processor
• Memory: 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
• Operating system: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.

Software Requirements

• Internet Information Services (IIS): IIS 7 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008), IIS 7.5 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2), IIS 8 (Windows 8, Windows Server 2012).
• The ASP.NET 4.0 feature in IIS 7 or IIS 8 must be enabled.
• The .NET 4.5 framework must be installed.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012

Supported browsers

• Chrome, Firefox 3.5+, Internet Explorer 8+, and Safari (desktop and iOS)

Known Issues

• In Internet Explorer 10+, the Embed YouTube Video dialog box does not properly close after inserting a YouTube video into the post or reply. (119646)
