See the following scenario:
- You are unable to use Windows authentication to log in to Laserfiche.
- You are able to log in with a Laserfiche account.
- Laserfiche Server is installed on a computer where your Windows domain account does not have the Access this computer from the network right.
This user right determines which users and groups are allowed to connect to the computer over the network. Without this right, domain accounts will not be able to authenticate to the Laserfiche Server hosted on the computer.
On the computer where Laserfiche Server is installed, use the Local Security Policy MMC snap-in and grant the appropriate users the Access this computer from the network option.
- On the computer hosting the Laserfiche Server, open the Local Security Policy MMC snap-in.
- In the Windows search box, type Local Security Policy or secpol.msc.
- Expand Local Policies and select User Rights Assignment.
- Double-click Access this computer from the network.
- Add the appropriate Windows user or group.
