Quick Fields 9

When Quick Fields 9 is installed on the same computer as the 32-bit version of Distributed Computing Cluster 9.1, Forms 9.1.x, Web Access 9.1.x, or Web Accelerator 9.1, you may encounter an error when starting Quick Fields. Quick Fields will display an "APPCRASH" message indicating that "Quick Fields has stopped working."

There is a hotfix available for Quick Fields 9. The fix is an updated version of the 32-bit version of LfLicenseReader.dll (version 9.0.0.8).

Back up the existing copy of LfLicenseReader.dll located in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_32\LfLicenseReader\v4.0_9.0.0.2__607dd73ee2bd1c00.
Extract the updated version of LfLicenseReader.dll from the zip file and copy the hotfix file into C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_32\LfLicenseReader\v4.0_9.0.0.2__607dd73ee2bd1c00.
