Summary

Import Agent 9 introduces the following new features:

• Import Agent now includes the option of recognizing files with .xml file extensions as Laserfiche XML import list files for batch importing.
• Import Agent 9 includes additional OCR processing options:
• Send OCR requests to a Laserfiche Distributed Computing Cluster Scheduler.
• Perform temporary image enhancements to optimize OCR text recognition.
• Import Agent profiles now include the option of generating Laserfiche image pages from PDF files.
• The Login window now has an option to enable SSL when connecting to a Laserfiche repository. (81949)

Changes and Fixes:

• Import Agent now requires Windows Vista Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 or later due to .NET Framework 4.5.
• Import Agent now supports importing Laserfiche briefcase files larger than 2 gigabytes (GB). (105178)
• The %(Subfolder) token is now properly resolved when in a path that involves a hidden network share. (86173)
• When used in the post-processing folder path, the %(Date) token now uses the - separator between the month, day, and year. (72126)
• There is now improved logging information if an error occurs when processing an import list file. (71041)
• Import Agent now properly connects to Laserfiche Servers running on a non-default port when specified through the Configuration Utility user interface. Previously, configuring Import Agent to use the non-default port required modifying a value in the registry. (69463)
