Summary

If you are not a member of the local Administrators group on the Quick Fields Agent machine, this message you receive is correct. If you are a member of the local Administrators group on the Quick Fields Agent machine, the Web Administration Console may not correctly detect your membership on Windows 2012 because user access control (UAC) is activated.

Solution

Deactivate the user account control (UAC) in Windows 2012.

1. Use the Windows Registry Editor to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system.
2. Change the EnableLUA registry value to 0.
3. Restart your machine.

Note: Deactivating UAC in the Control Panel does not disable it completely. You must deactivate it via the registry. For more information, see this Microsoft article.
