Laserfiche Forms 9.1.1

Summary

This article highlights the changes and fixes for Laserfiche Forms 9.1.1.

  • After a user submits a form, the submit button will be disabled to prevent additional attempts to submit the form. (111027)
  • The user synchronization process will now always retrieve the correct username for Windows accounts. (111216)
  • An issue with database lookups happening as soon as a user clicks in the appropriate field has been resolved. To disable the auto-suggest behavior, add the DisableAutoPopulateIn91 setting to the cf_options table in the Forms database and set it to true. You must restart IIS for this setting to take effect. Background: In Forms 9.0, drop-down fields auto-suggested but single-line fields did not. In Forms 9.1, both drop-down and single-line fields auto-suggested. In Forms 9.1.1, you have the option to turn off the auto-suggest behavior by adding the aforementioned setting to the database. (111262)
  • Number, text, currency, email, and date Lookup fields will no longer be auto-populated with the first value if there are multiple values returned from the lookup. (112322)
  • Fixed an issue where LDAP named users that had not logged into the repository were not synchronized by Laserfiche Forms. (110094)
  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from adding a data source with a Windows account that did not have rights to the Forms database. (110790)
  • Fixed an issue with the Save to Laserfiche feature that prevented the Attachment/Message document relationship link to be made between forms and their file uploads if that relationship was missing from the Laserfiche Server. If your Laserfiche Server does not have the Attachment/Message document relationship, you can define another document relationship for it to use in the SaveToLFConfiguraiton.XML file under the LFDocumentOFSubmission block like this: < LFDocumentRelationship> < Relationship>AttachmentNew < ReverseRelationship>MessageNew < /LFDocumentRelationship>. If no relationship is defined here, document relationship with ID number 2 will be used. (110866)
  • Windows and LDAP accounts from the Laserfiche repository are now synchronized to Forms regardless of their authentication type (110679)
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Forms from using SQL stored procedures added to existing data sources in Forms. (110559)
  • File uploads saved to the repository via Save to Repository service tasks now correctly follow version control settings. (111149)
  • URL parameters can now correctly select an option for drop-down fields that are part of lookup rules. (111281)
  • The Laserfiche Server's serial number now must be included when you configure the Connect to Server element of the Forms license in order for a Save to Repository service task to have a repository configured and for it to run. (111522)
  • Field variables now properly store the field's default values when the form is set as read-only. (110785)
  • Field variables that store a username can be used in email service tasks to email the specified user. (110917)
  • The "Close" button (that is shown after a form has been submitted) will now work when the form has been accessed through a published link. This will only apply to business processes created in 9.1.1. (111429)
