Laserfiche Forms is a Web application that allows organizations to collect, process, and route information. Users can create Web forms to collect or work with information, as well as business processes to define how that information is routed, interacted with, and managed. Laserfiche Forms 9.1.1 is a maintenance release that fixes bugs found in Forms 9.1.0.
- If you added images, CSS, or JavaScript files to your Forms 9.0 install directory, those files will not be retained on upgrade. Consider moving those files to another location, upgrading to Forms 9.1, and pasting the files into the Forms 9.1 install directory.
- If you configured Save to Laserfiche, backup the SaveToLFConfiguration.xml file located at C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Forms\Forms\bin before uninstalling. After installing 9.1, copy the SaveToLFConfiguration.xml to the same location in the Forms 9.1 install directory.
- If a domain account has not been synchronized by the Forms Server, users will only be able to log in with that account if they specify the domain along with the user name (e.g. laserfiche\john.doe). After Forms has synchronized this account, the domain name will no longer be needed when logging in with this account (the Windows domain setting on the Forms Configuration page must be set with the appropriate domain name). (111911)
- If a full domain name is specified for the Windows Domain field on Forms Server tab of the Forms Configuration page, domain users will not be able to log in without specifying the domain with their username. (111826)
- A fingerprint error can occur when a Windows user is specified in the System Settings step of the Laserfiche Forms installation. Manually resetting IIS will resolve this issue.
- Using multiple instances of the Laserfiche Forms Routing Service may cause issues with business processes that begin with timer events.
- Forms 9.1.x treats Laserfiche users linked to Windows Accounts as one account. In 9.0, these accounts were treated as separate accounts and, as a result, may have been assigned different security roles in Laserfiche Forms. (110530)
- On machines running IIS 8, if you specify a Windows account in the Laserfiche Forms System Settings step of the installation process, the following error message can occur after opening Forms: "Laserfiche Forms has encountered a problem. The forms license fingerprint does not match this computer. This error may occur when ASP.NET Impersonation is enabled on the Forms site in IIS." To solve this problem, disable ASP.NET Impersonation in IIS and manually restart IIS. (108766)
- When configuring an Email Approval Server, the Inbox folder cannot be set to "Inbox." (109789)
- On the Edit page of the Form Designer, if you drag fields onto the canvas and your session times out due to inactivity, when you log in again the fields will not be present on the form, despite the auto-save message on the Edit page. You can avoid this issue by navigating to another page after adding fields to the canvas or by logging out.
- When using the _(Current User) variable as the "When" value for a lookup that fills a read-only field, the value returned for the read-only field will not be stored. To avoid this issue, create a read-only field and set the {/_currentuser} as the default value of that field. Then use the variable for that read-only field as the "When" value for the lookup instead of using the _(Current User) variable. (112277)
- After upgrading to 9.1.x, the Start page thumbnails for processes created in Forms 9.0 are smaller than those created in 9.1.x. Opening the Form Designer and saving the form in 9.1.x will update its thumbnail image.
- After upgrading to 9.1.x, the Active Directory domain and Use SSL checkbox for the Forms Server on the Forms Configuration page will be cleared. (108782)
- When configuring Save to Laserfiche, the specified folder in the repository must have a default volume assigned to it.
- Oracle data sources do not work if the Forms Server machine is running Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8. (103901)
- Rules on fields within repeatable tables enable and disable fields instead of showing or hiding them. (103346)
- Laserfiche Forms does not support multiple databases with the same repository. If you change the database used by Laserfiche Forms in the Configuration page, you will have to re-enter the login credentials for the Laserfiche repository. (89720)
- If the Laserfiche Server and the Forms Server are not located within the same domain, users will not be able to log in to Forms with domain accounts. (89247)
- For forms with File Upload field types, Internet Explorer cannot validate file size before uploading. (90029)
- If the domain account which the server uses does not have local administrative rights to the server, the Laserfiche Forms Routing Service will be unable to start. (87639)
- If you use a field variable from a repeatable collection in the Assign to setting of a user task, only the first field variable value is used. (96043)
- In the following situation, only the first single line field in a collection will be automatically filled: A drop-down field with a default value and a single line field are in a collection. The Lookup rule is configured such that the drop-down field auto-suggests values (Fill statement); and the single line field is automatically populated when the drop-down field has a value. (112246)
