Summary

This article details hotfix 1013389 for Quick Fields 9.0, which resolves the following issues:

• Replacing pages in existing documents in a document class appends location data to the existing .loc file instead of replacing it. (110378)
• Document class properties are disabled after re-scanning a page. (110313)
• An Object Reference not set to an instance of an object error is reported if you OCR on the Sample Pages step of the Full Wizard when using the New Session Wizard from the Quick Fields Start Page. (110110)
• A saved Quick Fields session, using the Retrieve PDF Form Content process, may not open if a master PDF form was not configured. (109998)
• Quick Fields Agent may not display schedules in the schedules list if the schedule name contains a dot. (109668)
• You cannot browse to an Excel file when configuring a Lookup using the Excel 2003 OLE driver if the Workflow Designer 9.0.2 is installed. (109631)
• Quick Fields is unable to start a workflow to run on a document after storing it from Quick Fields. (109454)
• The token menu does not open in the Results step of the Field Lookup wizard if the data source has over 50 columns. (108449)
• Quick Fields may crash if you leave a Fixed Annotation Text Stamp blank and click OK. (107424)
• An Image is not clean enough to process error may appear when running the Form Extraction process on certain images. (106973)
• When using Laserfiche Capture Engine, sometimes the Post-Processing action to move a document fails with an Entry Locked error. (106771)
• The Assign Token Value process looks for the Toolkit feature in the license. (106506)
• The Edit the document's current field option (under Tools>Options>Quick Fields>Revision Pane) does not work when no template is assigned. (106476)
• If the Edit the documents name option (under Tools>Options>Quick Fields>Revision Pane) is selected, selecting a document in the Document Revision Pane may not display its field values in the Task pane. (106473)
• Using direct connections to data sources may throw an Unable to cast object of type "Laserfiche.Project.Data.Runtime.Odbc.SQL" error. (106016)
• Field values may not be saved correctly when manually entered in a non-required field unless the document loses focus. (105844)
• The Use JPEG compression option is not applied when using Universal Capture to extract images from multi-page tiffs. (105334)
• Capture Engine may return a "Received bad response from the server." error when it retrieves electronic docs from a version 8 Laserfiche Server. (105751)

Click the following link to download the update. This update must be installed on the machine where Quick Fields 9.0 is installed.

The zip file contains a single patch file (.msp). Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location on the machine where Quick Fields 9.0 is installed. Double-click the .msp file to update Quick Fields 9.0.
