Quick Fields 9 May Not Save Values Typed Into Non-Required Fields Until The Document Loses Focus.

Quick Fields 9

Summary

See the following scenario:

  1. After running a Quick Fields 9 session, you choose to modify field values on a non-required field for a document.
  2. You then immediately choose to store the document in Laserfiche.

When you view the new document in Laserfiche, you may find that field values are the original values set by the session and not the new values that you manually specified.

Cause

Quick Fields does not record the new values of non-required fields until you click on another document.

Workaround

In the Document Revision Pane, click on a different document and then re-select the document that you modified to force Quick Fields to save your non-required field value changes.
