Summary

For performance reasons, the Laserfiche Client search results listing will not automatically refresh when you modify documents in the search results from within the current Client instance.

More Information

Use the Laserfiche Administration Console to add the [Settings]RefreshSearchListing trustee attribute to configure the behavior. On the desired Laserfiche trustee, set the attribute value to True to configure Laserfiche Client to automatically refresh the search results pane.

  1. Load the Laserfiche Administration Console and log in to your repository.
  2. Under the Users and Groups node, view the properties for the desired Laserfiche user or Windows account.
  3. In the Trustee Properties dialog box, click the Attributes tab.
  4. On the Attributes tab, click Add.
  5. In the Add Attribute dialog box, specify the following name:

    [Settings]RefreshSearchListing

  6. In the Data text box, specify the following value:

    TRUE

  7. Click OK to close the dialog box.
  8. Click OK to save your changes.
