In a UAC-enabled environment, Client Automation Tools cannot detect Laserfiche Client instances that are running in a different security level.
See the following scenario:
- Start your custom Client Automation Tools program with elevated permissions.
- You manually launch an instance of the Laserfiche Client.
- The program does not detect the existence of the open Client instance.
- Your Client Automation Tools program launches the Laserfiche Client and properly detects that instance of the Client.
- You manually launch an instance of the Laserfiche Client with elevated permissions and your Client Automation Tools program also properly detects this instance of the Client.
