When sending an email to a windows user via Laserfiche Forms, the following error may occur:
This issue can occur when the computer hosting Laserfiche Forms has https enabled on the Default Web Site in IIS, but not enabled on the Laserfiche Forms Configuration page.
To resolve this issue, you must either remove the https binding from the Default Web Site in IIS or configure the Forms Server to use SSL.
To remove the https binding from the Default Web Site in IIS
- On the computer hosting the Laserfiche Forms Server, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, then click Run.
- In the Run window, type inetmgr and click OK.
- In the Connections pane of the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window, expand the node for the machine, then expand Sites and select Default Web Site.
- In the Actions pane on the right, click Bindings....
- In the Site Bindings window, select the row with "https" in the type column and click Remove. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click Yes.
To configure the Laserfiche Forms Server to use SSL
- Open the Forms Configuration page.
- Under Forms Server on the System Settings page, select Use SSL connection.
- Click Save. This will restart the Laserfiche Forms Routing Service with your new settings.
