When Registering a Named Device, Laserfiche Requires That the Specified MAC Address Be The First Network Provider On That Computer.

Laserfiche 8, Laserfiche 9

Summary

Laserfiche expects the registered MAC address for a named device to be the first provider on that computer. If the desired network adapter is not the first binding, users may receive an error 9030 when attempting to log in to a repository from that workstation.

More Information

If the client computer contains multiple network interface controllers (NIC), make sure that the one used to register the computer as a Named Device is the first controller. Use the Windows Control Panel to modify the advanced settings for Network Connections to change binding order.
