When opening a Laserfiche shortcut file (.LFE) from Outlook Web Access (OWA), you may receive the following error message:

Error parsing 'LFEFilename.lfe' Unknown error. [6000:0xc00ce556]

Outlook Web Access contains a "Safe HTML" filtering feature that can automatically modify incoming attachments. Due to this feature, the .LFE file is no longer a valid Laserfiche shortcut file. If you download the .LFE file and open the file using a text editor, you will see that Outlook Web Access has replaced the content of the .LFE file with: "This attachment was removed because it contains data that could pose a security risk."
