Summary

This article details hotfix 1013213 for Laserfiche Web Access 9.0.2. The hotfix includes the following changes:

  • When scanning in Standard Mode, Web Access no longer locks the current document until you scan another document or close the Scanning window. (102163, 102345)
  • Web Access no longer constantly refreshes when scanning large images. (102357)
  • In certain situations, Laserfiche Scanning may not close when you attempt to close Scanning. You had to manually terminate the processes from Windows Task Manager. This issue is now resolved. (102228)
  • The Laser App web import service now supports receiving forms from Laser App Anywhere.

The Web Access update includes the following files:

  • WebAccessCommon.dll (9.0.2.733)

The Web Import Services update includes the following files:

  • IntegrationsUtil.dll (9.0.2.731)
  • LaserAppData.dll (9.0.2.731)

  • Config.xsd (last modified on April 23, 2013)

Note: This update is included as part of the Laserfiche Rio 9.0.2 installation packages available on the Laserfiche Support Site after April 30, 2013. The updated Web Access and Web Import Services installation packages contain an "Updates" subfolder with .msp patch files. When using the updated installation to install Web Access 9.0.2 for the first time, the installation process will automatically detect and install the appropriate .msp files located in those subfolders. If you have not yet installed Laserfiche Rio 9.0.2, please download the most recent version of the Laserfiche Rio package.

The zip file contains WebAccessAndImportServices902733_20120430.exe. Double-click the .exe to update Web Access and Web Import Services.

Note: The zip file also contains Microsoft Windows Installer patch files (.msp) if you want to update Web Access, the DocuSign web service, and the Laser App web service individually.

The zip file also contains an updated version of the Web Scanning installation. If you are encountering the issue listed above with bug ID 102228, replace the existing versions of LfWebScan90.exe and WebScanBuildNum.txt stored on your Web Access server in the "Web Files\Scanning" subfolder with the updated versions. The default location is C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access\Web Files\Scanning. Subsequent users who download and install Web Scanning from Web Access will not encounter the issue.
