Laserfiche Server

• You no longer need field edit rights to revert a version controlled document to a previous version if the field values have not changed. (101405)
• Laserfiche again properly handles folder filter expressions that contain clauses enclosed in parentheses. (101084)
• 1013181 An "Error encountered while confirming final disposition. See the error log for details. Entry not found. [9001]" Error Occurs When Performing Final Disposition On A Record Folder. (100689)
• Laserfiche no longer becomes unstable if a text search returns a search hit following a page that ends with a hyphen. (100593)
• Laserfiche no longer becomes unstable when it processes a folder filter expression that contains multiple 'ANY entryprop' criteria on the same property. (100399)
• Laserfiche now attempts to display thumbnails for corrupt images. Previously, only the Image Pane supported this feature. (99460)
• A Folder Name search paired with a Within Folder search no longer returns ROOT FOLDER as one of the search results. (99178)
• The briefcase import process no longer loses track of the file extensions of certain types of electronic documents. (98831)
• An internal query for calculating volume size is now better optimized. Previously, when opening documents, the inefficient query could cause Laserfiche to appear to stop responding as the query would simply take a long time to finish. (98745)
• Laserfiche is now better optimized when calculating context hits on certain types of pages where the search hit is towards the end of the page. (98720)

Laserfiche Full-Text Search and Indexing Engine

• The search service no longer becomes unstable when indexing certain types of documents in a Spanish search catalog. (101845)

Administration Console

• The Sessions node now properly sorts by inactivity time. (98517)

Audit Trail

• The Audit Reporting Service now properly handles certain events generated by Laserfiche Server 8.1 and earlier. (99621)

Laserfiche Client

• The calendar picker displays the correct dates for April when the Windows time zone is set to "UTC+02:00 Beirut" and the Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time Windows option is enabled. (101586)
• Save to Laserfiche now properly extracts Recipient Email for certain types of email messages were previously not handled correctly. (101561)
• Office Integration no longer requires the Delete Pages entry access right to update a new version and regenerate text pages if the number of pages is unchanged. (101241)
• The Auto-detect page orientation option no longer causes Laserfiche to ignore other print options (e.g., the number of copies to print). (101194)
• The Folder Browser's OCR'ed Pages column no longer displays "All" for PDF documents with no associated text pages. (100922)
• You can now properly clear out a date field in the Metadata dialog box. (100867)
• The Laserfiche Office Integration now supports Office 2013.
• 1013183 A "The parameter is incorrect. [6000:0x80070057]" Error Occurs When Saving Field Changes In Laserfiche Client 9. (100865)
• Save to Laserfiche now accounts for the default volume set in a user's trustee attributes. (100376, 100911)
• Save to Laserfiche now properly handles email messages with attachments that do not have a PR_DISPLAY_NAME property. (100160)
• You now receive a message prompt indicating that you are opening an electronic file in read-only mode if the electronic document is currently checked out by another user. Previously, you were still limited to opening the electronic file in read-only mode, but were not notified until you attempted to save changes to the document. (100058)
• Laserfiche Client again properly supports printing in duplex. (99703)
• You no longer receive an "Invalid Pointer [6000:0x80004003]" error message when using the Generate Pages option on a shortcut. (99361)
• The Generate Pages option now also attempts to generate text for non-PDF electronic documents if the document does not already have text pages. (100775, 99184)
• The Refresh folders automatically option now refreshes the right pane in the Folder Browser. (98960)
• You can now use the [Settings]CacheFieldValues and [Settings]MaxDropDownLength trustee attributes to control drop-down list behavior for list fields and dynamic fields. Set [Settings]CacheFieldValues to Yes to turn on caching for list fields and dynamic fields to speed up list re-loading. Enabling this attribute will also configure the Client to only retrieve list fields and dynamic fields once per client instance. Set [Settings]MaxDropDownLength to the maximum number of items to display in a drop-down list field or dynamic field. List fields longer than the limit will no longer automatically display all available items in the list until you enter enough characters for the auto-complete feature to retrieve a subset of list items. • Laserfiche no longer always displays the Basic and Within Folder search options in the Search Pane after you close and reopen the Client. (98782)
• Selecting multiple documents and modifying the documents to have the sample template no longer clears out field values for documents that previously had that template. (98753, 100115)

• 1012990 A "'LongPathToElectronicDocument' could not be found." Error Occurs In Microsoft Office When Opening An Office Document From Laserfiche 8.3.1. (98608)
• The Thumbnail Pane in the Preview Pane no longer allows you to drag and drop thumbnails. Previously, you would receive a "Permission denied. [6317]" error message. (98226)
• Laserfiche 9.0.2 resolves a variety of PDF image generation issues. (98071, 99309, 99403, 100412, 100601, 100917, 101237)

Laserfiche 9.0.2 includes all updates released for Laserfiche 9.0.1.

• 1013171 A "Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'vhist_propval_pk'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.vhist_propval'." Error Occurs When Upgrading From Laserfiche Server 8.3 to Laserfiche 9.0.
