Summary

When registering a named user through the Named Users and Devices item in Laserfiche License Manager, you may receive the following error message:

The request exceeds the full named user license limit. [2071]

More Information

If you receive this error message, but have not registered any named users or are sure that you should have more available licenses, view the properties of the Named Users and Devices node in License Manager and take note of the values for Repository Named Users. The most common configuration error is that all available named user licenses have been allocated to a specific Laserfiche Server instance.

In most installations, you should not need to directly allocate repository named users on the Repository Named Users tab of the Register Application Instance dialog box. Repository named user allocation is only necessary if you wish to reserve licenses for Laserfiche trustees on a specific Laserfiche Server.
