Summary

When loading the Audit Trail Configuration page, you may see the following error message:

Key not valid for use in specified state.

Workaround

There may be an invalid configuration file. Rename or remove the existing configuration file and reload the Audit Trail Configuration page to recreate a default configuration file.

1. Stop the Laserfiche Audit Trail Reporting Service.
2. Browse to the Laserfiche Audit Trail Reporting installation folder. By default, Audit Trail Web Reporting is installed in C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Audit Trail. Delete or rename the existing Config.xml file.
3. Restart the Laserfiche Audit Trail Reporting Service and reopen the Audit Trail Configuration Page.
