This article highlights changes for License Manager 8.3.1.
- You now have the option to exempt specific named user accounts from Active Directory Group Synchronization rules. By default, any new named user accounts that you manually register will have this property.
- You can now specify 1 or more failover domain controllers for a domain controller subscription. If the primary domain controller is not available, License Manager will connect to the listed failover domain controllers.
- Active Directory Group Synchronization now supports subscriptions to domain controllers on untrusted domains from License Manager Server.
- You can now specify authentication information when subscribing to a domain controller for Active Directory Group Synchronization if you do not want to authenticate using the License Manager service account.
- License Manager is now fully compatible with FIPS compliance mode.
- You can now also modify the version number on an existing registered application instance.
