Summary

When installing Laserfiche, you may receive an error message similar to the following sample message:

In certain situations, this type of error 1935 can be a result of an invalid registry value for RegistrySizeLimit.

Warning: Incorrectly editing the registry may adversely affect your system. Before you edit the registry, make sure you have a backup and understand how to restore it if a problem occurs.

  1. Open the Windows Registry Editor.
  2. Browse to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control key and check if there is a RegistrySizeLimit DWORD value.
  3. Either increase the RegistrySizeLimit value or delete the value to use the standard Windows default.
