Granting the Allow log on locally Security Setting to Users Logging In to Web Access through Windows Authentication.

January 14, 2013 | KB: 1013138
Web Access 8, Web Access 9

Summary

See the following scenario:

  • Web Access is configured to prompt for credentials.
  • Users will log in to Web Access with a Windows domain account.
  • Web Access and Laserfiche Server are installed on separate computers.

The specified Windows accounts must have the Allow log on locally security policy setting on the Web Access server. In this type of Windows authentication, Web Access relies on a .NET Framework function that requires this right.
