Summary

Because the Laserfiche Search Integration portion of Laserfiche SharePoint Integration 8.2 requires the SharePoint Enterprise Search Service, the unified installation package will not allow you to install the integration if the service is not installed.

Workaround

Instead of using setup.exe to launch the installation, you can manually launch the SharePoint Integration installation MSI and pass in parameters to skip the search integration.

Open an elevated command-prompt and browse to the location of SPIInstallation_x64_en.msi. See the following command:

SPIInstallation_x64_en.msi REBOOT=ReallySuppress ADDLOCAL="Complete" INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Laserfiche" LICAGREETYPE=ENDUSER SPVERSION=2010 SEARCHCONNECTOR=0 IIS_INSTALLED=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL

Note: The installation package is not designed to allow you to add pieces at a later date. This means that if you want to install the Search Integration at a later date, you will have to uninstall the SharePoint Integration and reinstall the integration.
