Summary

If Laserfiche Client 8.3 and Quick Fields 8.3 are both installed on the same computer, and you upgrade to Laserfiche Client 9, the Laserfiche Capture Engine configuration dialog box may not be able to load the folder browser dialog box.

Cause

The Laserfiche Client 9 upgrade process may unregister LFSOFolderBrowser83.dll.

Resolution

Re-register LFSOFolderBrowser83.dll

  1. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, and click Command Prompt to load a command prompt.

    2. Note: In a UAC environment, load an elevated command prompt by right-clicking on Command Prompt and select the Run as administrator option.

  2. Type the following and press ENTER:
