Summary

When loading the Workflow 8 Designer, you may receive the following error message:

The property 'WorkflowServerList' could not be created from its default value. Error Message: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\yourUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\1\5zpkrzbq.tmp'.

Cause

This error can occur when the Workflow Designer installation process did not complete successfully. This issue has previously occurred due to anti-virus programs silently preventing the Laserfiche Workflow installation from completing successfully.

Resolution

Temporarily disable or uninstall the anti-virus client program, install the Workflow Designer, and then re-enable or reinstall the desired anti-virus program.
