Snapshot 8.3 prompts you to log in each time you print.

Cause

This situation can occur when Snapshot is configured to share one profile for the local Snapshot printer.

Resolution

Note: This article contains information about modifying the registry. Before you modify the registry, make sure to back it up and make sure that you understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs.

1. Do one of the following:
   • On a 32-bit computer, browse to the following registry key:

     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\Snapshot8\Profile\CurrentUser

   • On a 64-bit computer, browse to the following registry key:

     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Laserfiche\Snapshot8\Profile\CurrentUser

2. Change the value of ApplyToAllUsers to 0.
3. Open the Windows Task Manager and terminate the lfsession.exe process if it is running.
4. Open the Snapshot Configuration (Current User) dialog box and reconfigure Snapshot.
