This article details hotfix 1012984 for Laserfiche Mobile Add-on for Web Access 8.2.2 and 8.3.2. The update resolves the following issues:
- Editing the metadata of documents opened through shortcuts failed with an "Invalid host name. [782]" error message. (87878)
- Documents viewed on the iPad 3 appeared slightly blurry due to improperly sized image tiles. To resolve this issue, the default image tile size is now twice as large. You can increase or decrease the image tile size by adding the "IPadTileSizeFactor" element to the WebAccessMobileConfig.xml file. (88092)
- On the iPhone, when no default volume has been assigned to the parent folder of a document and the user is set to Use parent folder's default volume, document creation fails with a "The object is not identified, and cannot be locked or read from. [772]" error message. (88095)
- Some images viewed on an iPhone 4S do not display correctly and display a "part of the image could not be displayed" error message. (88099)
- Rotated images viewed on the iPhone 4 sometimes appeared cutoff or distorted. (88311)
The update includes the following updated file:
- C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access 8\Web Files\bin\WebAccessMobile.dll

To adjust the default image tile size
- Open the WebAccessMobileConfig.xml file using any text editing program (e.g., Notepad), by navigating to C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access 8\Web Files\Config\WebAccessMobileConfig.xml.
- Add the line <IPadTileSizeFactor>value</IPadTileSizeFactor> to the LFMobileConfigurationNode node of the WebAccessMobileConfig.xml file. Replace value with the desired size factor: 1, 2, or 3. Tiles with a size factor of 1 are their original size; tiles with a size factor of 2 are up to twice as large. A size factor of 3 means that tiles will be up to three times as large. By default, the tile size factor is set to 2.
- Save and close the WebAccessMobileConfig.xml file.
- Reset IIS.
