Summary

When printing a document through Snapshot 8.2.1.710 (included as part of Knowledge Base article 1012842), the Snapshot process incorrectly requires that you have the Modify Field field access right in order to assign a value to a field. Snapshot will still send the images and text to Laserfiche; however, field values that you manually specify in the Document Properties tab of the Laserfiche Snapshot dialog box will not be set on the resulting Laserfiche document.

Workaround 1

If you have sufficient rights to modify field values in a repository, log in to the repository using the Laserfiche Client or Web Access to set field values on the newly created document.

Workaround 2

As a temporary workaround, have a Laserfiche administrator grant you the Modify Field field access right on the appropriate field definitions.
