Summary

When installing Audit Trail 8.2, you may receive the following error message:

Operation failed with 0x8007000B

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

Cause

This issue can occur when certain IIS features are not installed.

Resolution

Make sure that the ASP.NET and Windows Authentication IIS features are installed.

Note: In Windows Server 2008, ASP.NET and Windows Authentication are IIS role services.
