Summary

When saving an electronic document back to Laserfiche 8.2.1, you may receive the following error message:

The specified path does not exist. [6722]

Cause

When you edit an electronic document in its native application, a temporary copy of the file is stored on your computer. Laserfiche reads this temporary copy of the file when you attempt to save the document back in to Laserfiche and then deletes the temporary copy. In certain situations, the temporary copy of the document is removed before Laserfiche can successfully finish storing your changes.
