  • Workflow 8.3 includes all hotfixes previously released for Workflow 8.0: KB1012549, KB1012596, and KB1012678
  • The Subscriber Tray no longer exists in Workflow 8.3, so any issues this feature had in previous versions are no longer a problem.
  • Issues that occurred due to the Workflow 8.0.0 or Workflow 8.0.1 installation process are no longer a problem in Workflow 8.3. (56604, 54150, 56566, and 57231)
  • The starting rule condition that specifies that "a multi-value field is not empty" resolves correctly instead of always resolving as "true." (61932)
  • The Workflow Designer now properly loads .wfx Workflow files that contain an activity with a condition on a date/time field. (56863)
  • Workflow will now replace a field value token correctly even when the field name contains a comma. (56838)
  • The E-mail activity now supports tokens that use the ":" or "," character in their formatting. (56220)
  • Workflow now takes into account disabled activities when ensuring that activities have all their required settings. (56288)
  • Workflow 8.3 supports enabling the Windows security option, "System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing". (52246)
  • When you configure the Workflow Subscriber to trace conditions and you have a large number of starting rules, the Subscriber service no longer consumes an unusually large amount of memory. (51436)
  • The %(Parent) token is now listed in the Workflow Designer's token drop-down menu when assigning field values. (31263)
  • The menu option to open a new workflow from an existing template now functions correctly. (56243)
  • The Workflow Designer no longer hangs for 20 seconds if the Workflow Server is shut down while the Designer is connected and you open an e-mail activity. (55476)
  • The Workflow Designer's Print Preview now calculates the page count correctly and uses much less memory. (31279)
  • The Route to Group activity now routes documents to groups that contain both Windows users and Laserfiche users. (35266)
  • The Workflow Designer now displays better on high-contrast, black Windows theme. (30981)
