Summary

This article document hotfix 1012828 for Laserfiche WebLink 8.2. This update includes the following changes:

• Opening embedded WebLink URLs from Microsoft Office applications no longer fail with the message "Unable to open [url]. Cannot download the information you requested." (84764)
• The WebLink Document Viewer now properly displays the values of multiple-value fields that are of types Text, Integer, Long Integer, and List. (77416)
• The Print (as PDF) option no longer displays a "The file is damaged and could not be repaired" error message for large documents when Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 or earlier is installed. (77338)
• WebLink now properly handles custom search forms that contain an Input element that binds to a Field search where the Input element is set to a List (single-select) or List (multi-select) input type and the list contains an item that is a blank space. Previously, such a search form would always append a search for a field value that is a blank space to the submitted search query. (75375)

To update Laserfiche WebLink 8.2

1. Click on the following link to download a zip file containing hotfix 1012828.

2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location and double-click the .msp file to update WebLink.
