Summary

This article documents hotfix 1012825 for Web Access 8.2.0. The update includes the following changes:

  • Web Access now uses a more efficient option to check whether it is still connected to the Laserfiche Server. (76494)
  • Web Access no longer unexpectedly loses its connection when you click around the user interface while Web Access is still processing a previous request. (76258, 75384).
  • The Document Viewer should no longer occasionally skip displaying a single image tile. (75736)
  • Web Access now HTML-encodes various user requests to eliminate possible cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. (75448)

  1. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of hotfix 1012825 for Web Access 8.2.0.

  2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
  3. Double-click the extracted .msp file to load the Web Access 8.2 update wizard.
  4. Select "Repair" when prompted for an operation.
  5. Restart the Web Access Server machine if prompted.
