A "The LFWorkflow log is full" Error Message Occurs When the Laserfiche Workflow Event Log Exceeds Its Maximum Size.

Summary

Laserfiche Workflow writes messages to the Windows Event Log. If the Event Log is configured with a maximum log size and cannot overwrite events, Workflow may be unable to log new entries in the Windows Event Log and you may receive a "The LFWorkflow log is full" error message.

Workaround

Modify the Windows Event Log settings to increase the maximum log size or configure the log to overwrite old events.

  1. Load the Windows Event Viewer.
  2. Right-click on the LFWorkflow item and click Properties.
  3. In the Log size section, select the Overwrite events as needed option and click OK.
