This article documents hotfix 1012818 for Web Scanning 8.2.
- Scanning now properly loads the Scanner Options dialog box when you use the toolbar button to open the dialog box. (71085)
- When necessary, Scanning now attempts to calculate image size itself instead of relying on the scanner to pass in the appropriate value. (69434, 69435)
There is an updated version of the Web Scanning installation. Replace the existing Web Scanning installation package hosted on your Web Access server with this updated version. Subsequent visitors to your Web Access site can download and run the updated Web Scanning 8.2.1 installation.
To update the hosted Web Scanning installation
- Click the following link to download an updated Web Scanning installation package.

- Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
- Replace the existing versions of LfWebScan82.exe and WebScanBuildNum.txt stored on your Web Access server in the "Web Files\Scanning" subfolder with the updated versions. The default location is "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access 8\Web Files\Scanning."
