Summary

When installing WebLink 8.2, you may receive the following error message:

The Laserfiche license file did not contain a proper license for this product. Please make sure you have selected the proper location.

Cause

The WebLink 8.2 installation process may not correctly recognize certain valid WebLink licenses. This issue affects "Web Distribution Portal" WebLink license files.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the WebLink 8.2 installation released after July 6, 2011. Please download the most recent version of the WebLink 8.2 installation.
