Summary

The Web Access 8.2.0 Document Viewer may display existing annotations in read-only mode in the following situations:

• You are currently viewing a document and use your Web browser's Refresh button or the F5 key to refresh the entire page. When the Document Viewer finishes reloading, existing annotations are read-only.
• You directly navigate to a document either by manually specifying a URL in your Web browser's address bar or by clicking on a hyperlink.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the latest hotfix available for Web Access 8.2.0. Please see Knowledge Base article 1012817.

Workaround

Reopen the document from within the Web Access site.
