Summary

When Laserfiche Scanning 8 has multiple documents in the Revision pane, clicking on the Show Next Document toolbar button may display the Default Properties pane instead of the Document Properties for the selected document.

Cause

Laserfiche Scanning 8 may be reading an unexpected user attribute value.

Workaround 1

1. Log in to Laserfiche as the user encountering the issue and load Laserfiche Scanning.
2. From the File menu, click Options.
3. Select the Navigation option.
4. In the Documents section, in the When navigating to a document option, select a different item and save your changes.

Workaround 2

Clear all the Standard Mode Scanning user attributes for that user account.

To clear the Standard Mode Scanning attributes for a user

1. Start the Laserfiche 8 Administration Console and log in to the appropriate repository as a user with the Manage Trustees privilege.
2. Expand the Users and Groups item.
3. Select the user you wish to modify.
4. From the Action menu, click Properties.
5. Click the Attributes tab.
6. In the View subset drop-down list option, select Scanning-UserName.
7. Select all of the values and click Remove.
8. Click OK to save your changes.
