Quick Fields 8

When you configure a Quick Fields 8 session with a Field Lookup (Real-Time Lookup) process to retrieve information from a .CSV file input, you may receive the following error message:

ERROR [42000] [Microsoft][ODBC Text Driver] Syntax error in FROM clause.[Directory=] [Method=ExecuteFirstResult]

This error can occur if the input for your Field Lookup (Real-Time Lookup) process is a .CSV file where the file name contains a hyphen (-) character.

Rename the source .CSV file so that the file name does not contain a hyphen.

In the Real-Time Processes tab of the Metadata Management for Document Class dialog box, make sure to update the Input section by selecting the renamed .CSV file.
