Summary

When you attempt to activate Quick Fields 8, you may receive the following error message:

An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for system.serviceModel/bindings: Could not load type 'System.Security.Authentication.ExtendedProtection.Configuration.ExtendedProtectionPolicyElement' from assembly 'System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'. (C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Quick Fields 8.0\Laserfiche.QuickFields.exe.Config line 11)

Cause

This issue can occur if a Windows Update 982167 or 982168 did not fully complete.
