Summary

This article details hotfix 1012752 for Laserfiche Client 8.1.2.

The patch resolves the following issues:

  • The Laserfiche Client could become unstable when dragging and dropping entries in the folder browser. This issue is now resolved. (69559)
  • When you use Snapshot to process single-page electronic documents, Laserfiche may not properly remove temporary files generated during the Snapshot process. This issue is now resolved and the temporary files are deleted. (64146)
  • You may be unable to drag-and-drop messages from Outlook Express or GroupWise E-mail clients into the contents pane of the Laserfiche Client. (55227).
  • 1012685 Kodak's iThresholding Settings are Not Saved After Laserfiche Scanning is Closed. (68619)
  • A potential memory leak can cause a "bad allocation" error in certain custom integrations that iterate through a large number entries using the LFFolder.GetChildren() method. (64991)
  • The LFFieldData.set_Field() method did not properly support arrays of types other than VT_VARIANT. (68061)

Resolution

To update Laserfiche Client 8.1.2

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing Laserfiche Client hotfix 1012752.

    2. KB1012752_Clientwin32.zip

  2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location and double-click the .msp file to update the Laserfiche Client.
