Summary

This article details hotfix 1012751 for the Laserfiche 8.2 Migration Wizard/Utility. Resolves the following issues:

• The premigration data integrity check always fails. The premigration data integrity log file will contain an entry similar to the following line (68613):

2011-02-14 14:53:47.902 Error: Table: USERS Unable to check for trustee_name_ck violation.: Invalid column name 'Name'.

• The migration utility contained a potential memory leak.

Note: The hotfix files in this article only apply to the migration wizard included in Laserfiche 8.2.0 and should not be applied to other versions of the software.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche 8.2.0 that updates the following files:

• Lf8MigrationUtil.exe (8.2.0.622)
• SQLSrc.xml

To update the Laserfiche 8.2 Migration Wizard

1. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of the hotfix.

2. Replace your existing version of Lf8MigrationUtil.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, the file is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Migration 8.2."
3. Replace your existing version of SQLSrc.xml with the updated version included in the zip files. By default, the file is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Migration 8.2\xml."
