Summary

By default, after applying a stamp annotation to a page, the mouse cursor resets from the stamp cursor back to the standard arrow cursor. In situations where you want to apply the same stamp multiple times in a document, you can configure the Laserfiche Client to retain the "apply stamp" cursor through a user attribute.

Using the Laserfiche 8 Administration Console, on the desired trustee account, add the [Options]PersistAnnotationTools attribute and set it to True.

To add the [Options]PersistAnnotationTools attribute

1. Load the Laserfiche 8 Administration Console and log in to your repository.
2. Under the Users and Groups node, view the properties for the desired Laserfiche user, group, or Windows account.
3. In the Trustee Properties dialog box, click the Attributes tab.
4. On the Attributes tab, click Add.
5. In the Add Attribute dialog box, specify the following name:

[Options]PersistAnnotationTools

6. In the Data text box, specify the following value:

True

7. Click OK to close the Add Attribute dialog box.
8. Click OK to save your changes.

Note: This attribute is available in Laserfiche 8.1.2 and later.
