Summary

This article details hotfix 1012686 for Quick Fields 8.0.2. This hotfix resolves the following issues with the Session Migration Utility.

• Quick Fields 8.0.2 now correctly handles legacy sessions in which the last process in a document class is a Quick Fields 6 Barcode process. (59597)
• The migration utility no longer incorrectly converts a process' local image enhancements into permanent enhancements. (62330)
• The migration process now properly handles Quick Fields 7 sessions that contain a process with 4 or more lookup values. Previously, if a process contained 4 lookup values, the migration utility would display an "'.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 734, position 8" error message. (60265)

Resolution

The fix is an updated version of QFMigrator.exe (version 8.0.2.354).

To update Quick Fields 8.0.2

1. Close any open instances of Quick Fields 8 and the Quick Fields 8 Migration Utility.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file with the updated migration utility.

3. Replace your existing version of QFMigrator.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, the file is located in "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Quick Fields 8.0\Utilities."
