Summary

This article details hotfix 1012678 for Laserfiche Workflow Suite 8.0.1, which resolves the following issue:

• Laserfiche Workflow now properly routes documents with document names that contains characters that are invalid in a Windows path. (57303)

These characters include:

? " : * / | < >

Important: This hotfix is superseded by Knowledge Base article 1012844.

Resolution

The hotfix is available as a self-contained .exe files that update the following file:

• Laserfiche.Workflow.dll (file version 8.0.1.571)

To update Workflow 8.0.1

1. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the hotfix for the Workflow Server:

Server x86 - Sept 2010 Rollup KB 1012678.zip

Server x64 - Sept 2010 Rollup KB 1012678.zip

2. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the hotfix for the Workflow Subscriber:

Subscriberx86 - sept 2010 Rollup KB1012678.zip

Subscriberx64 - sept 2010 Rollup KB1012678.zip

3. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location and double-click the appropriate .exe to update the desired Workflow component.

Note: Regardless of whether the Workflow Server and Subscriber are on the same machine, apply both hotfixes to the machine.
