Summary

This article details hotfix 1012677 for Laserfiche 8.1.2. The fix includes updates to both Laserfiche Server and Client components.

The Laserfiche Server update resolves the following issues:

  • The QRCmd.exe utility now indexes documents that have pages in the Recycle Bin. (62677)
  • The %(Parent) and %(Parent:FieldName) tokens now check for the Read field access right before inserting the field value. (62840)
  • Laserfiche now properly processes intermediate search results when processing a search that combines a full-text search with another type of search. Previously, such a search may return 0 results if the non-full-text search portion of the search returned a sufficiently large number of entries. (63177)
  • The Laserfiche Server service no longer shuts down after a user with an expired password loads the Snapshot Configuration dialog box and attempts to view Snapshot configuration properties. (63240)

  • The Folder Browser's Thumbnails view mode now displays a preview of image files (.bmp, .jpg, etc.) that are imported into Laserfiche as electronic documents. (62266)
  • The Send to Laserfiche option now properly preserves Microsoft Word template and formatting information when sending an unsaved document. (63165)

  1. Stop the Laserfiche Server service.
  2. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Laserfiche Server hotfix 1012677.

  3. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location and double-click the .msp file to update the Laserfiche Server. Restart the Laserfiche Server service.
