Summary

When the Retain file extensions in electronic document names option is enabled in the Options dialog box's New Documents -> General item, the Laserfiche Client may not properly open the electronic file portion of electronic documents that have a name that contains a blank space before the file extension. For example, attempting to view the electronic file portion of "My Document .doc" will not automatically launch Microsoft Word.

Workaround

Rename the document so that there is no blank space character before the file extension portion of the document name.
