- There is now an Add new features option in the Help menu that allows you to reactivate directly from the Quick Fields interface without needing to deactivate first. (58068)
The following is a list of fixes for Quick Fields 8.0.2.
- The following hotfixes for Quick Fields 8.0.1 previously released as KB articles are included:
- 1012563 Quick Fields no longer displays a "Root element is missing" error message if the workstation has a blank ProcessProfiles.xml configuration file. (53892)
- 1012563 When populating fields, navigating to a blank field that contains a constraint may place the cursor at the end of the field. This requires you to manually move the cursor before you can specify a value for the field. This issue no longer occurs. (57153)
- 1012563 When a session contains a Lookup Identification process and no matches are found, Quick Fields no longer displays an "Object reference not set error." (57369)
- 11012525 Quick Fields 8 May Be Unable to OCR More Than 100 Pages When Language Packs Are Installed. (56436)
- [KB:1012389]1012389[/KB] When a session stores documents in Laserfiche, date values may not properly account for regional date settings. For example, date values are correctly shown as DD/MM/YYYY when processing the session, but when stored in Laserfiche, the date values use MM/DD/YYYY. This issue is now resolved. (53919)
- [KB:1012389]1012389[/KB] In sessions with multiple document classes, sample images for a specific document class may sometimes revert back to the default sample image. This issue is now resolved. (51548)
- [KB:1012389]1012389[/KB] Installing a previous Quick Fields 8.0.1 compilation hotfix may prevent Windows from automatically opening Quick Fields when you double-click a .qfx session file. This issue is now resolved. (54293)

This may result in duplicate documents in Laserfiche the next time the session is run. (52089)

- Laserfiche Capture Engine will now correctly retrieve items when set to retrieve documents and shortcuts and filter by template, field, or tag. (55144)
- Laserfiche Capture Engine will now correctly retrieve the electronic portions of electronic documents when filtering by document type and template, field, or tag. (55816).
- Page Removal process settings will no longer be lost when there are multiple document classes in a session. (55176)
- Clicking between multiple Substitution processes will no longer cause them to lose their settings. However, if the settings were already lost and have not yet been saved again, you may still need to update them after installing 8.0.2. (60019)
- Zone OCR no longer returns "null" values instead of empty values when no text is found in the specified region. (59933)
- Metadata Updater now correctly updates the settings for Unidentified Documents. (58706)
- Processing pages with textbox annotations with no fill color through Laserfiche Capture Engine no longer changes the annotation fill color to white. (58603)
- Tags selected in Laserfiche Capture Engine criteria are correctly saved when saving the session. (57947)
- Metadata for currently assigned to the document is preserved when assigning the document to a different document class if "Use the metadata of the assigned class" is not selected. (54548)
- Token Verification now runs correctly after failing to find a match. (57725)
- The electronic component of the document is no longer discarded when manually assigning multiple documents to a document class. (57618)
- When connecting to an Oracle data source through direct connection, the list of views available is now retrieved. (57482)
- Quick Fields Agent no longer reports that one of the document classes requires login during session validation when Laserfiche Capture Engine is set to delete the original documents. (56859)
- Stamp font type and size is correctly handled by the migration utility for all types of fonts. (56774)
