Summary

The Approval Workflow page may have unexpectedly slow performance when there are multiple workflows for a meeting type.

Cause

Due to a default setting in SQL Server Native Client, Agenda Manager may repeatedly open and close connections to the SQL database, which can cause performance issues.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Agenda Manager Server 8.0.1. The fix is an updated version of AMServer.exe (version 8.0.1.351).

To update Agenda Manager 8.0.1

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of AMServer.exe.

2. Stop the Agenda Manager Service.
3. Replace your existing version of AMServer.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, AMServer.exe is located at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Agenda Manager Server."
4. Restart the Agenda Manager Service.
