Summary

The Laserfiche License Viewer is a utility that displays the properties for a specified lf.licx file in an easy-to-read format.

An installation package is available from the Download Center on the Laserfiche Support Site at:

LicViewer.msi

Double-click the downloaded .msi file to begin the installation.

To load the utility:

1. Click the Start menu, and click All Programs, Laserfiche, and Laserfiche License Viewer.
2. Click the Open license file toolbar icon or drag-and-drop a lf.licx file from windows explorer onto the Laserfiche License Viewer window to display the file's properties.

You can also load the utility by directly browsing to the installation folder and double-clicking LicenseViewer.exe. By default, the utility is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche License Viewer."

The utility displays the licensing properties of the specified lf.licx license file. The Laserfiche License Viewer can act as a troubleshooting tool for detecting license file issues. The utility validates basic properties of the specified license file and will highlight invalid values in red text.
