Summary

When you load the WebLink 8 site, you see the login page instead of being automatically logged in. This issue occurs even though the appropriate repository configuration in the WebLink 8 Administrator's Utility is configured with the "Automatically log in" option.

The login page displays read-only values for the login information and manually clicking on the Log In button successfully logs in.

Resolution

In the WebLink 8 Administrator's Utility, make sure you specify a Default DBID value.

1. Load the Laserfiche WebLink 8 Administrator's Utility.
2. On the Virtual Directory tab, make sure the Default DBID drop-down list displays the desired value. The "Automatically log in" repository configuration option will not correctly function if the Default DBID option is set to "No default."
